Foreign Service Tour Extension
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Foreign Service Tour Extension (FSTE) is used by the United States Army to extend the overseas tour length of a Soldier. When a Soldier arrives to an overseas location they are given a DEROS. A Soldier's DEROS is based on which type of overseas tour they will complete. Tour lengths vary depending on the location of the overseas area.[1]
