Forbes Johnston

Forbes Johnston (born 3 August 1971 in Aberdeen, Scotland - died July 12, 2007 in Adelaide, Australia) was a Professional Football player [1], playing primarily in defence, but spending some time in the midfield. He started his career playing for Junior side Musselburgh Athletic, he then joined Falkirk FC from 1990-1996 [2]. He later joined Airdrieonians FC from 1996-2000. Forbes also represented his country in the Scotland Under 21 team. While playing football, he obtained his Law Degree from Edinburgh University, and after a career-ending knee injury when he was 28, he left Scotland to join accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in Edinburgh before moving to Sydney and then Adelaide, Australia. He died suddenly aged 35 [3].
