"For a While" is New Zealand band Stellar*'s 12th single, and their second single from their third album Something Like Strangers. This song features Andy Lovegrove of fellow New Zealand band Breaks Co-Op. The single was released much like Whiplash before it solely to Digirama digital music store. It was released roughly a month and a half before the album Something Like Strangers' release.

Much like Whiplash before it, the music video for this song features solely Boh Runga from the members of the band. She is shown drawn in a re-animated style and walking within London's city scape, alongside scenes of Andy Lovegrove doing similar. At one point a meteor shower is seem to rain down on London.
