Footprints Recruiting
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Footprints Recruiting is the world's largest ESL teacher placement agency.[1] It was founded on October 17, 2001 in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, and has offices in Australia and South Korea. It places native English speakers with a bachelor's degree for no fee in schools primarily in Asia, but also in Europe, South America and Africa. Schools pay a recruiting fee.
Footprints Recruiting is the first ESL placement company to screen both schools and teachers .[2] Screening, including criminal records, is done using independent organizations.
The business was founded by ESL teachers Jeff Strachan and Ben Glickman and is focused on the teaching applicant’s point of view.
Footprints Recruiting offers a professional library of teaching aids/lesson plans to their teachers (and the public) at no cost[3] as well as access to Footprints teachers on the ground who act as mentors.
