Sorry I don't have enough information to be able to do a section on Welsh music. I am very unsure about the format of timelines. I hope this doesn't upset too many people. Ogg 13:16, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion/Merging/redirecting

There are many things wrong with this page

  • Can the Timeline of trends in music from the United Kingdom page, and some of the pages linked from it, be rescued? I feel that these particular pages have been untouched for so long, that users have forgotten about them, so in essence they have been lost and information has been put elsewhere. Maybe it is best to delete the page altogether? --Montchav 18:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Timeline of trends in music from the United Kingdom --> British music per time periods or something else. - It is mainly the "Timeline of trends" bit I'm not happy with. The article is not really a timeline, and is not particularly about trends. Pretty much all the pages linked from it are pretty old, and doubtlessly the information therein is duplicated elsewhere on Wikipedia. Maybe this is a merge job, I'll ask WP:MUSIC to see what they think. --Montchav 18:47, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merging

I was bold, and moved everything from this page onto other pages - all information is now at Template:English folk music and Template:Scottish music. The rationale was that this page itself contained nothing but links to other pages. It was redirected to Folk Music of England because that was the most-related page. I personally am glad to get rid of the page, as it annoyed me in so many ways --Montchav 10:03, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
