[edit] Wikifiy Template

I agree with the citation template, but the article seems to be in the proper format for a stubbed article. It has a leading paragraph, a body paragraph, and an ending section. It is asking too much to attempt a better format with such a short article. HoCkEy PUCK 12:53, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

However, during the course of this business, it was necessary to design and build a power amplifier in order to operate loudspeakers for gathering acoustical measurements. They made two power amplifiers; one for the measurements, and one as a stand-by in case the first failed. The unit worked better than expected, however, and a friend from a performing rock-band borrowed the back-up amplifier for a gig. After the gig, the amplifier came by chance into the hands of a hi-fi reviewer in the USA.
After some time, Manuel and his partner received a call from a man who claimed to be a hi-fi dealer, wanting to order a batch of the amplifiers. Thinking that it was a prank call, Manuel quoted an absurdly high price and gave his bank account number, not expecting to hear from the man again. Abouta week later Manuel's bank called him and told him that there was a large deposit made into his account. Manuel now had to make good on his promise of delivering the amps, and from then on FM Acoustics became an amplifier manufacturer. The first amplifier was called the 800A.

I searched high and low for a source for these paragraphs, but could find none—other than websites which reproduce wikipedia. Add them back if you can find a source.

I poked around trying to find the date they stopped speaker manufacture, but found nothing but indirect evidence it was before 1990, so I marked it as needing a citation.
