In college, I spent way too much of my free time tinkering with Linux, which was not the desktop-friendly OS that it is today (Oh, wait...). When I finally got my video card working, I spent all sorts of time playing Tuxracer, a rather addictive racing game involving a penguin sliding down a mountain (like SSX, except without the snowboard). The most fun (read: fastest) level involved all sorts of high jumps, and was titled "Who Says Penguins Can't Fly?" Thus, a geeky screen name was born.
