[edit] Dash or no dash?

The LIRR map contains a dash in the station name, while other publication from the MTA say otherwise. And another website shows it dashless, albeit of dubious cerdibility. Some also pull up "Flushing" alone as a name. Pacific Coast Highway {X'sand O's!} 00:09, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

The site "of dubious credibility" is actually a photo of a sign that clearly has no dash. --NE2 00:18, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
That wasn't the site I was talking about. And we already had this discussion over signage versus publications (albeit over subway station names) before the project merger. Check the archives. Pacific Coast Highway {X'sand O's!} 00:25, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Another sign: [1] I agree that signs should not be the only consideration, but here they seem to "break the tie". --NE2 22:33, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
