Flugwissenschaftliche Vereinigung Aachen

Flugwissenschaftliche Vereinigung Aachen (FVA)or Flight Research Association Aachen is closely associated to the RWTH Aachen . It is a non-profit organization. Its members consists of RWTH Aachen students. It was founded in the year 1920. Among its famous students include Felix Kracht. FVA supports and organize various training courses for flight training. Its training includes handling of composites and other aircraft materials including steel and aluminum. Among the projects handled include the research for alternative flaps configuration for Airbus.
