Hi Flobster. On wikipedia we don't use any category system. All you have to do is create an article at the appropriate page (I would think that it would be Lonely Planet), and then link to it from appropriate pages. For example you could write a paragraph about travel guides in Travel and link it from there, or something similar. - snoyes 03:52, 7 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Howdy. Welcome from me too (a bit late, but still). Regarding your comment on Wikipedia talk:Votes for deletion - yes, it can seem like there's a flood of crap threatening to deluge the wikipedia, but VfD does give one a somewhat jaundiced perspective on that. One thing a lot of people do is to frequently reload "recent changes" (on your left-side toolbar) - sometimes for vandalism, sometimes for conflict, but often just for raw curiosity (I've found so many things there that I didn't even know existed). And the amazing thing is the generally high standard of almost all additions and edits. I used to hang out all the time on VfD, but I mostly quit it, as it's really a very poor reflection on what's really going on in the wikipedia in general. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 02:26, 8 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Hi, Flobster, If you're going to add country names to all the county pages, please use United States rather than USA so as not to overburden the system with redirects. Also, why not go with the formal rather than the abbreviated and informal, eh? THanks. jengod 07:08, Feb 9, 2004 (UTC)

- You are *absolutely* right about United States of America vs. United States, but for some reason the official country page is at United States... *shrug* :) Best, jengod 07:59, Feb 9, 2004 (UTC)
