[edit] Usefulness of this article

This is one of the missing 1911 Britannica articles. The original article also contains some info on the different types and brands of materials, all either outdated or covered by interwiki links. The Britannica editors obviously saw it as worthy of an encyclopedic article. I personally think it's borderline, but it doesn't really take up much space, and were it to be moved, nobody looking up the term on Wikipedia would be able to find it. I say keep, cause why not?, unless you're worried about abstract concepts like 'precedence'. Eixo 23:59, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
