The Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA) is a constituent chapter of the American Academy of Physician Assistants(AAPA). Founded in 1974, FAPA is a recognized leader in the formation of health care policies as well as promoting the professional development and education of PAs.
FAPA's Mission:
-to assure affordable, accessible quality health care for all Floridians
-to mold the shape of our profession by proactive intervention in legislative affairs
-to develop continuing medical education programs for PAs and the Academy membership
-to promote the PA concept through education of both professional and lay persons
-to promote similar interests for the PA student societies
