The article states that the Scottish Glomgold was introduced in Duck Tales in 1987. However, I distinctly remember appearances of Glomgold (or rather, Mac Moneysac, as the character was named in German translations) wearing a kilt and being from Scotland in stories I read as a kid years before the Duck Tales (late seventies, early eighties). So far, I couldn't find anything on Google, but I think the 1987 date is incorrect. Does anybody know more than me? -- Ferkelparade π 07:51, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)

The German name "Mac" does also sound very Scottish, by the way. 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 23:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
In these brazilian and portuguese stories, he is know as "Pao-duro Mac-Monei" at least since December 1981 (I have this book - published December 1981 - and he is named "Mac-Monei")194.65.151.249 (talk) 11:08, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 'Black beret with a red pom pom'?

Am I the only one who thinks his hat looks a LOT more like a tam o'shanter (and would also fit in with his Scottish background from the animated films)? --Joffeloff 00:55, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
