Flitterin'

"Flitterin'" is a song from the Walt Disney musical film Summer Magic. The song was written by the Sherman Brothers and is sung by 1960s the "Carey Family", Hayley Mills, Eddie Hodges and Dorothy McGuire (who was dubbed by Marilyn Hooven).

At the beginning of the film, "Gilly Carey" (Eddie Hodges) gets a piano as a consolation gift for having to move away to the country. The piano becomes an inspiration to him to become a better songwriter. Gilly plays the piano and the song becomes a backdrop to the family's move.
