Flight cancellation happens whenever for a certain reason the airline cancels the scheduled flight. Whenever this happens, passengers may be entitled to various things. This is because every flight company has Rule 240 (Rule 218 in certain places). This rule normally specifies that passengers may be entitled to a free room if the forthcoming flight is the day after, choice of reimbursment, rerouting, phonecalls, refreshments and much more.
