Does anyone have a recipe for Fleischbutter? I had it when I visited Frankfurt, and really liked it, but I can't find it anywhere in America. I really recommend it. It's less fatty than paté, salty, and the pepper gives it a nice kick.

It would be interesting to see some sources. Never heard of that stuff, so until proven wrong, I believe in a misunderstanding somewhere. Never saw it in restaurants or hotels either. Being german, I simply doubt this. KapHorn 21:40, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

No, this scary stuff is unfortunately for real. On the upside: This is a strictly regional thing (Rhein/Main and south of it, I think) Azate 16:32, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

since i have never heard of this stuff, i have asked on the german wikipedia about it. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_Diskussion:Essen_und_Trinken#Fleischbutter Elvis (talk) 14:32, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
