[edit] Merger Proposal

I would like to propose that Flagstaff Hill, Melbourne be merged into this article for the following reasons:

  • The Flagstaff Hill article is a one-line stub with no edits or improvements since 2006
  • All the information in the Flagstaff Hill article is already located in the much more comprehensive Flagstaff Gardens article, which also provides context for the hill;
  • The Hill does not seem notable enough for a standalone article, other than in association with the wider histroical and cultural notability of the gardens surrounding it; and
  • It will assist readers by locating all the information about this site in the one article.

If there is something I have missed about the Flagstaff Hill article or if there are any disagreements with this proposal, please let me know. Euryalus (talk) 11:06, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

In the absence of any comments either way I have gone ahead and redirected the Flagstaff Hill page. All the Flagstaff Hill article material was already included in "Flagstaff Gardens", so the merge was not a challenging affair.
Any disagreements with this, please revert the redirect and we can discuss further. Euryalus (talk) 05:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
