Flavio Barros Souza (born 23rd January 1978 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer who has recently agreed to terms to play for the South China in the Hong Kong First Division League pending a trial. Barros is left-footed center forward.
On 15 June 2007, Hong Kong First Division League club South China announced on its Official Blog that the team has signed a contract with Flavio Barros. [1] Some South China fans noticed that Newcastle Jets had also announced that it has signed the player. On 1 July 2007, South China announced on its official blog that Flavio has arrived in Hong Kong and reported to the team. However, after playing in the team for a number of pre-season matches, South China discharged the contract with Barros in early September 2007.
