Flavigny-sur-Ozerain is a commune on a hilltop in the Côte-d'Or department inBurgundy in eastern France.
Flavigny is known for its anise-flavored candy. The movie Chocolat was shot in Flavigny.
It has a seminary of the Society of St. Pius X, a traditionalist branch of the Roman Catholic Church, the Séminaire International Saint Curé d'Ars. This community is often said to be "schismatic", but this is incorrect, see [1].

This village also has a Benedictine abbey. The monks today occupy a site near to the site of a Benedictine abbey from the early Middle Ages to the Revolution. The monks returned in the 1970s.
