Flash Harry (St Trinian's)

Flash Harry is a fictional character from the St. Trinian's movies.

In the St Trinian's movies, Harry runs the St Trinian's Matrimonial Agency for the Sixth Form girls. He puts bets on race horses for the pupils, and also helps them to bottle and sell their laboratory-created gin.

"Flash Harry" was played by George Cole in the first four St Trinian's movies:

• Blue Murder at St Trinian's
• The Pure Hell of St Trinian's
• The Great St Trinian's Train Robbery

"Flash Harry" was played by Joe Melia in the fifth St. Trinian's movie The Wildcats of St Trinian's in 1980.

In the 2007 movie, called simply St. Trinian's "Flash Harry" was played by Russell Brand. It is not yet clear if Brand will return to the role for the 2009 sequel St Trinian's: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
