Flag of Manchukuo

The flag of the now-defunct Empire of Manchukuo had a mustard yellow field with four horizontal stripes of different colors in the upper-left corner. The colors of the flag were based on the colors on the Five Races Under One Union flags used by the Beijing-based Beiyang government and the Empire of China (1915-1916).
- Yellow represents the Manchu people and unity.
- Red represents the Han Chinese and bravery.
- Blue represents the Mongol people and justice.
- White represents the Hui people and purity.
- Black represents the Tibetan people and determination.
