Flag of Huntingdonshire
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Flag of Huntingdonshire is a modern proposal for a county flag for the former English county and current local government district of Huntingdonshire. It was proposed by Rupert Barnes of the Huntingdonshire Society [1] which promotes the traditional county status of Huntingdonshire. The flag derives from a detail in the full achievement of the Huntingdonshire arms which feature as a crest, a rampant lion bearing a green flag, with a gold, ribboned hunting horn. This is the design proposed as a county flag for Huntingdonshire.
