From a Wikipedia article about Fisher Island, Florida, that included a statement saying that Vanderbilt II died in 1944 I followed a link to a Wikipedia article about Edward Moore, saying he had lived during the 1700's. Trouble is that the first article (Fisher Island) says that Vanderbilt II gave Moore a "luxury yacht" in exchange for owndership of Fisher Island, Florida and that Moore lived during the 1700s. The two facts exclude any likelihood of being correct/true, as written.

In addition, after saving these comments I clicked on the link that goes back to the main article and was served a page saying that the page requested dosn't exist. I wonder how I clicked to it in the first place, if this is true.
