[edit] Direction

This article reads as if its without any direction as to what is about.

IMHO I would expect this aticle about the various genus, and general habitats. It opens in this vain but then digresses to eating of barramundi this article should have a section about Fishing in Australia with a {{see main}} type link, the fishing article should then be the place for the reasons behind differing catches. Looks like the whole thing ought to be moved to Fishing in Australia. Then start a new article on Australian fish biology - guess Fish of Australia, to go with Birds of Australia, Reptiles of Australia, Amphibians of Australia -- Glen Fergus 07:38, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
To be honest, this page isn't even worthy of becoming Fishing in Australia. It is just a jumbled mess of facts and the page really needs to be started from scratch, for both the fishing and the geographical distribution of fish species and habitats. Kare Kare 05:54, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
