There is no information on this page other than the fact that Garmisch has been chosen as host of these championships. The generic page for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships has a table on it listing each competition by year and which city has hosted or is scheduled to host.

My proposal to merge, therefore, is a mere formality, as the information that I would seek to move to FIS Alpine World Ski Championships is already there. The only concrete step would be to turn this page into a redirect, until such time as some other editor decides to include valid, souced information on this page beyond that which is already contained on the parent page.

There is no information on previous, unsuccessful bits on that page nor does it note when Garmisch was chosen. If there is anything in this article that would need additional references, please note them here. -- User:Docu
