[edit] AfD nomination of Community first responder
I have nominated Community first responder, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Community first responder. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. NAHID 12:18, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi there! I think that this article should stay, and I'd like to suggest some improvements that can be made to ensure it does. I've added a link to a 2004 BBC news item about CFRs - any more recent news coverage would be very useful. We're going to need sources for the quoted opinions of the regular ambulance service, and for the range of people who are CFRs. The BBC article mentions similar organizations in the USA and Australia - do you have any more detail on what these might be? It might be better to continue this discussion on the article talk page, if it survives AfD. Tevildo (talk) 13:06, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi again. Just FYI, we already have this topic covered at Certified first responder#UK Community responder schemes. An alternative - especially if the AfD fails - might be for you to work on that article section and have Community first responder as a redirect to it. However, there's no objection in principle for us to have a seperate article - we can move the content from "Certified" to "Community" (see WP:MERGE for the procedure) if that's the decision we reach.
