Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium) has been used for centuries in widely scattered parts of the world for medicinal purposes. OK, but Wikipedia:Verifiability applies here. (Given the large number of medical claims for many plants, and the difficulty in tracking down where the claims come from, the presumption should be that they fall under material "likely to be challenged"). Kingdon 16:37, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
