Explanation: this logo, if intended for identification of firewire plugs and ports, can be replaced by a photograph that shows both the port and the logo above it. In the end, the article doesn't need to illustrate the icon. It needs to illustrate what hole on the computer you stick the wire into.

Any such photograph we created whose primary purpose was to show the logo, would as a result become a derivative work (and thus be fair use).
