We need to distinguish between heavy guns (howitzers etc) and small, personal weapons.
I propose calling large weapons (naval guns, artillery guns etc.) "guns" and small ones (designed for infantry use) "firearms". Oberiko 21:06, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
