Fipher, pronounced with a short 'i' as in "if", is a shortening and muddling of the name Christopher. It was first spoken by Michael Nicholas Osborn as a young toddler learning to speak his older brothers name, Christopher David Osborn.Jeremy Ryan Osborn, the oldest of the three boys, took a liking to the name a begun calling Christopher by Fipher rather than Chris. Eventually Chris took a liking to it himself and has since taken to using it as his legal and internet signature.
