[edit] FiDi?
On July 20, 2007, ChrisRuvolo removed part of the article that abbreviated "Financial District" to "FiDi". I think this abbreviation is silly, but people use it. As an example, I noticed today that there is an advertising banner on the new high-rise condo building under construction on the southeast corner of New Street and Exchange Place, and the banner says something about the company's new residences in FiDi. Very few people use this abbreviation in conversation... I agree that it should be mentioned in the article, but the article should definitely be titled "Financial District" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.22.224.239 (talk) 19:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
