The Finley Ghost is an urban legend that claims that the appearance of a ghost along the Columbia River in Finley, Washington. The legend claims that a teenage girl died when she was spooked by a gaseous expulsion in the river and fell on a sharp rock and died in 1979, and her ghost still haunts the area.
Since then there have been dozens of suspicious drownings in the area, more than any other stretch along the Columbia River (one of the largest rivers in the world).
