Finca Bellavista

Finca Bellavista is a self-sustaining community in Costa Rica encompassing 300 acres (1.2 km²) of rainforest. The property is owned by Crested Beauty, S.A, which sells lots of between two and five acres to the general public, in which a stilt house or tree house may be built. Residents are required to purchase a biodigester [1]

The community has been featured in National Post.[2] Finca Bellevista was featured in a special "30 Greatest Trips Ever" issue of Outside magazine.[3]
