Finale Juvenile Hurdle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Finale Juvenile Hurdle is a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old novices. It is run over a distance of 2 miles 110 yards (3,319 m) at Chepstow Racecourse during the Welsh National meeting in late December. There are eight hurdles to be jumped in the race.
It is the first of three Grade 1 juvenile hurdle races to be run in the British jump racing season, followed by the Triumph Hurdle and the Anniversary 4-Y-O Novices' Hurdle. The only horse since 1988 to win either of the latter races after victory here was Mysilv, winner of the Triumph Hurdle in 1994.
