back in the 60s Ratu Mara was occassionally known as Kamisese Mara Uluilakeba, using his fathers traditional name as a surname, since late 60s this usage disappeared. --Xorkl000 11:14, 30 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Edward Cakobau = Etuate Tugi Tuivanuavou

Ratu Sir Edward Cakobau is another example of this charmingly cavalier attitude to names, he is known by many as Etuate Tuivanuavou, which i understand to be his baptismal name. The Cakobau got tacked on later in his life. I'm not putting this in the article because i am not sure that i am 100% correct. --Xorkl000 11:21, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
