This article should be merged with casual relationship simply because it's just the Brazilian word for the same thing and does not deserve an article in English, allthought I think it deserves mention under Casual relationship. In Brazil such an arraganme ment is known as a ficar... blah blah blah Qrc2006 07:58, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

• Support but with the Qrc2006's proposal how to include it. Also it should be mentioned, that there is a different term for the noncasual type of relationship - namorar - as it clearly denotes the distinction between the two. • oppose. "ficar" is not the same as "casual relationship", mostly because they happen in different cultural contexts. I suggest "ficar" should be referenced in casual relationship as a Brazilian counterpart of "casual relationship" and this article kept as a full explanation. I also expanded this article with further information of the typical socio-cultural process of "ficar". hawck 00:09, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Casual relationship (as I understand from that article) is more accented on sex, than ficar is. Ficar is used as a term for just kissing - or maybe the correct term would be making out . It doesn't include sex, so I think. Will try to work on that and return later to vote, Biblbroks 19:22, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
