I backed out your contribution to psychoacoustics, as it was unsourced and largely confused or incorrect. The explanation in terms of beats did not support the idea of the missing component being "physical". There's something to be a said about a fundamental being generated by intermodulation distortion, but that has been largely discredited as the main explanation for the missing fundamental. And there's a whole article on this topic, so I linked that, and added a brief sourced explanation. Dicklyon (talk) 17:51, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
