[edit] slang

The slang note looks very spurious; please clarify and cite a better reference. --Cmprince 22:51, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] DJ Fergie

Added a redlink to DJ Fergie as a page I was updating linked here in reference to the DJ. -mike[F] 16:28, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] = Lets face it

Fergie(singer) is going to be the one that everyone directed here will be looking for. I call for the fergie page to redirect streight to her page, and create a link there to lead back here if she wasn't what they were looking for. If there are no objections, I'll do it in a few days. --24.15.165.14 01:26, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

They'll be plenty of objections, the first one being from me. It's been tried many times before and hotly contested. When there's that much debate and lack of consensus over whither a word should redirect, a disambiguation page is always best.--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back 01:43, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

I think a lot of people would look for Alex Ferguson, manager of the biggest sports team in the world, more than the singer. 217.44.10.167 02:26, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

The first people I'd think of when I heard Fergie would be either alex ferguson, sarah ferguson or the DJ. The singer would come far behind that. I think a disambig page is definately best in this situation. 212.140.167.99 23:10, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
"Fergie" is Sarah Ferguson, obviously. She was famous as such when the singer was still a small child. — Chameleon 03:57, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Fergie the "singer" has been around for 5 mins. I was looking for sarah ferguson. I oppose any sort of redirect. 82.3.18.24 20:52, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
To think that most people would look for the Fergie (singer) is a highly US-centric view. A disambiguation is best here. See Template:Globalize 129.199.159.36 18:42, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Everyone going here is looking for Fergie the singer. Why would anyone call the other people "Fergie." These people do not go by the name as the singer does.--Cartman005 00:28, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] inconsistency in fergie (singer)'s age.

Date of birth 1970 on this page, 1975 on her own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.7.3.105 (talk) 20:46, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
