Actually, on wikipedia, getting "permission" to use the image here on wikipedia is not good enough. That rationale, by itself, is actually a valid reason to delete the image (see WP:CSD I3). The copyright owner of the image must release the image under the terms of a free license, and that has to be verifiable (either through an official website or other official documentation, or through the OTRS system. a personal e-mail is not verifiable). -Andrew c ^[talk] 20:47, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
