I have totally re-written this page. I've added a lot more information and I've also removed some stuff that was just wrong, eg "Wentworth was sent to Ireland to subdue the rebellion". Wentworth was an administrator in Ireland in the years leading up to the rebellion but was recalled and indeed executed by the English Parliament before the rebellion ever happened.
