[edit] Early life
Felix was born into extreme poverty. However, his good looks along with his dancing talent made him stand out from the others. A talent scout spotted him at the tender age of 7 during a school production of Mary Poppins. He won the scouts admiration and later her love and she paid for him to get a good education and bought him a nice suit. It then became his dream to become the star of a British soap opera. At 17 he moved to Birmingham, UK to attend the Birmingham Acting School. Two months later he dropped out due to artistic differences and to pursue his soap opera dream. After seven years of being unable to find any work in the TV industry he became depressed and turned to alcohol. Fortunately it was at this time that Doctors was first aired on the BBC and upon seeing the series Felix became convinced that this was his calling in life. "Apenas no podría creerlo" (I just couldn't believe it) he said, "Realmente me sentía que había encontrado mi llamar" (I really felt I had found my calling).
[edit] Career
Felix originally auditioned for the character of Dr Greg Robinson, but it was felt by the casting agents that this wasn't the right role for him. Further depressed by the rejection he turned to drugs. It wasn't until he hit rock bottom, depressed, addicted to sniffing glue and unable to make the rent that he received the life changing call from the Doctors casting agents. He was invited to audition for the character of Rico Da Silva, the gay lover of Dr Grey Robinson. Felix couldn't believe his luck - "No podría creer mi suerte!" (I couldn't believe my luck!) he cried. Between 2006 and 2007 Felix appeared in 42 episodes of doctors.
However, in 2007 Rico was written out of the series due to Felix frequently turning up to set in a state described by fellow cast members as "intoxicated". Felix has recently admitted in Hello magazine that after the initial excitement of joining the cast, his enthusiasm dwindled and he returned to his former ways. This behaviour pinnacled in March 2007 when Felix lost control (reportedly due to a combination of sniffing permanent marker pens and drinking over three cans of Red Bull) whilst filming a love scene between himself and Dr Greg. The mixture of toxic fumes and high level of caffeine was a recipe for disaster. Felix burned down the entire Doctors studio resulting in over £7 of damage. He was immediately fired from the series, with his character Rico leaving to live in Denmark.
Happily, this was not the end for the multitalented acted/performer. Later in 2007 Felix acted in a Bollywood film called "Aaja Nachle". He stars as Steve, a National Geographic photographer from the USA. His character falls in love with Dia, played by Madhuri Dixit.
