"Feel Free" is the second single by British rapper Kano from his second studio album London Town, after "This Is the Girl". The song features Blur and Gorillaz member Damon Albarn. The single reached #12 on the UK R&B singles chart but failed to reach the UK Top 75 Chart.
[edit] Music Video
The music video is black & white, and is set in the past, in 3 places: The streets of London, in a London cab and in a church with a kids choir, who are actually from Kano's old school (where his mother still teaches). While in the cab, the video shows the London Eye. The lyrics interpolate the hook from Nas' song Made You Look at one point while in the cab, which Nas says, "They shootin'! Aw made you look / You a slave to a page in my rhyme book", which Kano changes to, "But I like to see them shut the McD's / Cuz, they shootin'! Nah made you look / You a slave to a page in the cheque book".
Kano performed the song at Electric Proms at London's Jazz Café on October 27, and featured on BBC 2's new music show 'Sounds' and on T4 in Channel 4[1].
