[edit] Garaldea

Garaldea (land of "we are" or land of the flame)

From memory, Krutwig meant "Land of colour", "Land of the painted ones" or "Highland". Actually I think the meant all at the same time. --Error 03:16, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

That was when talking about Caledonians/Picts as Karadunak. Kara=color, laughter (archaic), also *khar is accepted as a pre-IE root for stone (like in Basque harri or German?karst).

He believed that Pict(us) was the Latin literal translation of Caledon/Karadun. --Sugaar 21:13, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] F. Krutwig SAGREDO!

I'm pretty sure that the second surname of Krutwig was Sagredo, not Salcedo. I'm changing that. If you can document the opposite please revert. --Sugaar 11:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
