what crimes are considered federal crimes?
what are the usual penalties for committing a federal crime?
should minors at the age of 16 years or older, be able to tried as an adult and be punished in a federal prison for committing a federal crime?
con:
1. minors would be very susceptible to things like rape in a federal prison, even at the age of 16 or higher
2. should we be trying to give them moral guides instead to show what is right or wrong, instead of throwing them into jail.
3. is this the wrong solution?
pro:
1. would this make minors more responsible for their actions, and not want to do something like that again?
Can anybody name famous Federal Offenses in this country? Wasn't the Oklahoma City Bombing a Federal Crime? For that matter, is it a Federal crime to damage or destroy goverment property? Alan 24.184.184.177 (talk) 03:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Apparently some kid just made a good initiative by including destruction of mailboxes. I inserted it into its proper place in the article. I don't consider it vandalism because the person meant well, but apparently isn't exactly quite familiar with the routine. Alan 24.184.184.177 (talk) 03:26, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
