Ministers of the Federal Government of Pakistan are sworn in by the President of Pakistan and constitute the cabinet of Prime Minister. Out of the total of 42 ministries[1] (including Prime Minister's secretariat and the newly designated Human Rights ministry), 24 are chaired by Pakistan Peoples Party, 14 by Pakistan Muslim League (N), two by Awami National Party, and one each by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and independent candidate from FATA.
