I just found this set of comments on my talkpage that you left [1]. I think you are speculating and yet even in the "facts" you posted you are incorrect. But I really was wanting to know what evidence there to back up the statement that a group was persecuted out of existence. I would like to know where this is coming from. As for the Arians being persecuted I disagree. The western Roman empire fell to the Arians. The Arians did plenty of killing and persecuting. As for the Ophites I am looking for hard data. The last known claim of a sighting appears to have been in the United States in the year 1868, when he was reported to have visited a Mormon named O'Grady (see Desert News, September 23, 1868).
