I notice that you have added this phrase, unaltered, to a large number of articles. I would question:
1. whether it is accurate to say that a majority of archaeologists hold this belief [that "the Israelites emerged as a subculture within Canaanite society, rather than invading from outside it"], when you have only cited one archaeologist;
2. even if this is the majority position among archaeologists, whether it is really necessary to repeat it so many times in identical form across Wikipedia.
