Hi. Minor apology; I made a few removals/taggings of some unsourced material you added recently to the Western honey bee article. I stand by the edits themselves (including the one that I restored after deleting it), though I was a little confused when I wrote the note I made accompanying one of the edits (about "mellifera-specific" editing). Please ignore that comment, as I was confusing your edits on this article with your comment in the honey bee talk page - I did not realize, at first, that it was actually the mellifera article you were editing. I realized my mistake very soon thereafter, but too late to change the comment. The comment about "domesticated bees" was typed in haste - I had meant to specify "U.S." in that phrase. That being said, the point remains that there are lots and lots of things beekeepers say about bees that don't have scientific study to back them up, and it really isn't appropriate to include such things here; if you're concerned that this is just my personal opinion about how to edit, I'll refer you to official WP guidelines on "reliable sources" and "no original research". Inclusion of anecdotes violates both of these editorial policies. By all means, if you HAVE citations for things like the lifespan of german bees, then that's great, and it'd be an excellent addition to the article - but if this is only hearsay, and you have no documentation to support it, please consider removing it.
