Fazaia Intermediate College E-9 Islamabad is directly under the education branch of Pakistan Air Force. The new building in the PAF Complex Islamabad was built in the year 2004, with modern lay out and facilities for proper education. It shifted from the building of Air University in 2005. The college is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) under which it conducts the Board Examination of Matriculation(SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC or FSC). The college has a staff of about fifty teachers, and the average student to teacher ratio is 1 teacher for every forty students. The college has latest equipment in the laboratories of Computers, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The sports facilities consist of a Volleyball court, a basketball courts and a football field. The Principal of the college is Air/Cdr (rtd) Azhar Rana and the Headmistress of SSC section is Mrs. Safdar Saqlain. The college is an English Medium Institution with an option to study in Urdu. Due to some reasons in 2005 the college was converted to a Separate Education system with both the Girls' and Boys' sections accommodated in the same building.
