[edit] Collaboration of the fortnight

Please look at Fauna of Australia for ideas. This is a featured article and is indeed of outstanding quality. Let's get some well referenced material and please, no lists, but an actual article. Merbabu 14:22, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Webber Line

This has been taught a lot in local Geography - a second line, separating Irian Jaya from the rest, that separates "transition fauna" from those of Australian region. Wikipedia has no article on this line, or Lydekker's line. Should we mention it? I added a slight note on the Webber line. Steax 06:13, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I think, it's okay to mention it. But I also think, we should create an article about the Webber line and the Lydekker's line. Acaramoy 11:28, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conservation and efforts

Should we also put in a section on conservation efforts? IMO, at the moment in only shows the damage done but is still missing what's being done about it. --Steax 08:24, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

of course, that would be excellent - as long as it is reliably sourced. cheers --Merbabu 08:28, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
